When is IMM 2017 taking place?
The IMM 2017 will take place from Thursday 25th May – Monday 29th May.
Where is the venue for IMM 2017?
Westport House Estate in Co. Mayo is the location for the event. This is located on the west coast of Ireland.
How far is the venue from the ports?
Dublin Port is just over 3 hours from the venue.
Rosslare port is a little under 5 hours from the venue.
What types of roads will we be using?
The routes from the ports are a mixture of motorway, national roads and secondary roads.
Are there tolls?
Yes. Depending on the routes taken, you will encounter tolls. These vary in price from €2 upwards. A map of toll locations can be found here: http://www.etoll.ie/driving-on-toll-roads/information-for-visitors/
Are there discounts on ferries?
Yes, we have discount codes for different routes.
Stenaline Deal: £120 for a Mini and two passengers return or £160 for a Mini, two passengers and a small caravan/trailer. This deal is good for a week either side of the IMM.
Irish Ferries Deal: Deal on UK – Ireland routes and France – Ireland routes.
Is there an airport nearby for those not bringing their mini?
Knock International Airport is 50 minutes away from the venue.
Does the airport have car hire facilities?
Yes, the airport does have car rental. Budget, Europcar, Irish Car Rentals, Hertz and Avis all have desks in the Arrivals hall.
Can I hire a Mini?
No, not at this point in time.
What are the ticket prices?
Each adult ticket is €95. This is an increased price since March 17th. Under 16’s are free but require a printed ticket. Ticket sales are per person, not per vehicle.
When do ticket sales end?
Ticket prices increase after March 17th. We will continue selling tickets up until the month of the event. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a welcome pack for tickets purchased after March 17th.
I have bought my ticket, but the name of previous venue is on it. Do I need to reprint the ticket?
No. You do not need to reprint the ticket. We will scan the barcode for entry.
I cannot no longer attend the event, can I get a refund?
We are no longer processing refunds. If you or one of your party is no longer able to attend, you can sell your ticket independently. Contact us on the Facebook page or at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can update the information attached with the ticket.
Do I require 1 ticket per person, or per vehicle?
You are required to purchase 1 ticket per person.
What does my ticket cover?
1 ticket covers your attendance and entry to all days of the IMM. You cannot purchase a ticket to attend part of the event. You must purchase a full ticket to attend any part of the event.
Do I require a ticket for my son/daughter that is under 16 years of age?
Yes, every attendee requires a ticket for health and safety reasons. Under 16 tickets are free, but must be ordered.
Is there a day rate entry for the Sunday Show?
The Sunday Show ticket allows you access to the Show and Shine event and access to the traders area only. This is a day ticket only and access to the site ends at 6pm.
Car and passenger – €20
Extra passenger/walk in – €10
Those under the height of a standard classic Mini will have free entry.
What time can we access the site?
The site will open its gates at 12.00 noon on Thursday 25th. All attendees need to be off site by 12.00 noon on Monday 29th.
Will I be able to camp with my own Mini Club members?
Yes, we will be contacting all clubs to provide a list of members so we can allocate necessary space to the club.
Can I camp beside my Mini?
Yes, there will be space for attendees to park next to the camping area.
Will there be a power/electricity hook up for my camper van?
No. We are unable to provide a power/electricity hook up for campers.
Are BBQ’s allowed on site?
Free standing BBQ’s are allowed. Open camp fires are NOT allowed.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Yes, dogs are allowed on site for the duration of the event. They must be kept on lead and under control at all times, and owners must clean up after them. Failing to do so will incur a fine.
We are not providing any kenneling facilities on site.
Is there Glamping available?

EVENTS DURING IMM
What events are happening during the IMM?
We will post a full schedule in the coming weeks. We have already announced some of the organised runs. These include:
Friday 26th – Treasure Hunt
Organised by Neil Kilbane and Aidan McGrath, this treasure hunt will bring you along the world famous Wild Atlantic Way. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery but don’t get too immersed. Keep your eyes open and wits about you, as you will be working hard to decipher the clues which inevitably will drive you to the edge.
Saturday 27th – Economy Run
“The winner is the one who burns the least amount of fuel.
You will fill up at the start and your tank will be sealed and the mileage recorded on you car,you will be given a clear route map with tulip diagrams for the full route and return to the start and fill up again.The winner will be the one who uses the least amount of fuel so ditch the roof box,turf out the tools,clothes and maybe passengers too,get in the gym and lose the Christmas lbs to see if you can be crowned IMM 2017 economy run winner.”
When can I register for these events?
Registration for these events will happen from 09:00 – 11:00 on the morning of the event.
IMPORTANT: Numbers are limited on these events. People will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis for both.
